Shri. Madhukar Ramdas Joshi

An Eminent Scholar of Sant Literature, Prof. Shri Madhukar Ramdas Joshi served as a Reader at the Department of Marathi in University of Nagpur. He is the recipient of the prestigious ‘Jnanoba-Tukaram Puraskar’ awarded by the Government of Maharashtra for his outstanding contribution to Sant Literature and Humanitarian work. He is currently an Advisor to the Thanjavur Maharaja Sarfoji’s Saraswati Mahal Library, Thanjavur. Some of his notable contributions include editing several descriptive catalogues of Manuscripts and Encyclopedic works ranging from topics like Sant Literature, History of Marathi Literature, Sant Ramadas and Sant Tukaram. Shri Joshi lives in Nagpur.

Prof. Uttara Sahasrabuddhe

Prof. Uttara Sahasrabuddhe is currently Head of Department at Department of Civics & Politics, University of Mumbai. She is also Visiting Instructor at Naval War College, Goa; and has been Visiting Instructor to the Army War College, Mhow. She is recipient of the Asia Fellowship, awarded by Asian Scholarship Foundation, Bangkok and also recipient of Asia Fellowship Collaborative Grant in 2010. She is also Board Member of editors of Asian Politics and Policy, published by Wiley Blackwell and has contributed numerous articles and papers to reputed journals and books.

 

Pandurang Balkawde

Renowned Historian, Shri. Balkawde is currently Secretary of Bharat Itihas Sanshodhak Mandal. An authority on Maratha history, he has published numerous papers and essays on various facets of Maratha history by studying original letter correspondences and primary resources. He is also an advisor to many government institutions and Universities.

Prof. Prasad Joshi

Prof. Prasad Joshi is currently Vice Chancellor (I/C) of Deccan College Post-graduate and Research Institute, Pune. He is also General Editor (I/C) of ‘Encyclopaedic Dictionary of Sanskrit on Historical Principles’, at Deccan College PGRI, Pune. He has authored several books and has also published number of research papers on Ancient Indian Grammar, Linguistics and Lexicography. He is recipient of prestigious ‘Badarayana Puraskar’, Presidents’ Award for exceptional contribution in the field of preserving and propagating Ancient Indian Scriptures.

Prof. Manjusha Gokhale

A Renowned Sanskrit Scholar, Prof. Manjusha Gokhale is currently Dean of Faculty of Arts and Fine Arts at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. She served as a Professor in the Department of Sanskrit, Ramnarain Ruia College Mumbai for more than 20 years. She has authored number of books and research articles on Vedic and Classical Sanskrit Literature, Mythology and other interdisciplinary research topics.

Prof. Radhakrishnan Pillai

Prof. Radhakrishnan is the founder-director of Chanakya Institute of Public leadership (CIPL) – a research based organisation that is working to promote Indian concepts in management. He has done extensive research on “Kautilya’s Arthashastra.” He is author of numerous best-sellers including the “Corporate Chanakya.” He is a visiting faculty to prestigious institutes in India and abroad including the IIT, IIM, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) among others. He has been awarded the prestigious ‘Sardar Patel International Award 2009.’

 

Founders

Akshay Ranade

An academic by profession, Akshay teaches at University level to Post-Graduate and Graduate students. He has presented his research work at various national and international conferences. His research interest includes India’s Foreign and Security Policy, India’s Strategic Thought and Culture, Political Ideologies in India among others. Apart from his core research areas, Akshay takes deep interest in Indian history, Indian Philosophical and Spiritual heritage. Akshay considers Mimamsa as an important avenue to study, understand and help facilitate the spread of idea of a “Wonder that is India”.

 

Sanhita Joshi- Ranade

A student of Sanskrit, Sanhita is pursuing her doctoral thesis on Paninian grammar at Deccan College Post-graduate and Research Institute, Pune. Her research areas include Sanskrit linguistics with special focus on Paninian grammatical tradition. Apart from this, Philosophy, Indian History and Geography, Linguistics are her areas of interest. A double Gold Medallist in Sanskrit at Post-Graduate and Graduate levels from University of Mumbai, she has presented research papers in various National and International Conferences. She also has six years of teaching experience at University level. She believes that Mimamsa will pave a pathway for the exhaustive and extensive study of Indian tradition, its Value system and the intellectual heritage which is the need of this age.
